The tablet problem
- Without an integration, each delivery app has its own tablet, and staff retype orders into the POS.
- Retyping is slow and causes mistakes, and sales end up split across systems.
- With Chefzi, Uber Eats and DoorDash orders come into the POS with your other orders.
One queue for the kitchen
- App orders, website orders and counter orders are handled together on the kitchen display or printed.
- Sales from every channel feed your reports.
Marketplace orders vs your own orders
Orders placed in the Uber Eats or DoorDash apps are still subject to those platforms’ own fees. Orders on your own Chefzi website carry no commission per order. Many restaurants keep the apps for discovery and give regulars a reason to order direct. Separately, Chefzi can send Uber Eats and DoorDash couriers to deliver orders from your own site.
Pricing
Pricing is $17 CAD a month (Cash and pickup) or $35 CAD a month (Card payments), with no commission per order. Plans are month-to-month, with discounts on 1-, 2- and 3-year plans. Menu setup and onboarding are free.
